Venice Beach

Check out the Venice Breakwater, a favorite surf spot for locals built by Abbot Kinney in 1905 to protect the amusement pier. Venice Beach offers a 3-mile stretch of golden sand, volleyball courts, and epic surf for those who want to score some waves.

The Boardwalk

Located right next to Venice Suites, stroll along this acclaimed 2.5 mile boardwalk, filled with skaters, surfers, artists, musicians, mimes, fortune tellers, and other assorted street entertainers. In addition to epic people-watching, the boardwalk provides enough shops and stores to buy almost anything.

Muscle Beach

Visit the most famous outdoor gym in the world, Muscle Beach! Home to both amateur and professional bodybuilders, Muscle Beach is an open playground with a gated area that encloses weight lifting equipment. The outside area features a sand box with gymnastic, rope climbing, and acrobatic bars.

Venice Canals

Featured in romantic movies like "Valentine's Day", the Venice Canals offer a beautiful setting during anytime of the day. Designed to mirror the famous canals of Venice, Italy, the Venice Canal Historic District is a must-see attraction when staying in Venice, CA.

Abbot Kinney Boulevard

Home to lofty price tags, shop until you drop along Abbot Kinney Blvd, which features décor shops, vintage clothing, delicious restaurants, and boutique stores. And if you're in the area on the first Friday of month, be sure to stop by Abbot Kinney First Fridays, where you can support small businesses at one of LA’s most popular art walks!

Santa Monica Pier

At the end of the Venice Boardwalk, you'll find the famous Santa Monica Pier. With its roller coaster, carousel, aquarium, video arcade, outdoor concerts, and plenty of restaurants, it's a must-see attraction for kids, as well as adults.

Third Street Promenade

Nestled in the heart of Santa Monica, the Third Street Promenade features numerous shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues covering 30 city blocks. From jewelry to clothing to movies, guests of Venice Suites can literally spend all day shopping and eating at this outdoor mall.
