All of our Venice Beach California properties are fully furnished extended stay suites. Unlike a full service hotel, we do not have room service, a bell boy, concierge or a restaurant on-site, instead our Venice Beach locations go the extra mile to bridge the gap between hotel and home. With incredible ocean views, affordable rates and full kitchens in every apartment we offer guests the chance to live like a local in comfort and style.

Our guests enjoy the fact that we are at the saner end of the Venice Boardwalk which is comprised of many restaurants and hotels and a bit quieter than the southern end or the boardwalk can be very active. We pride ourselves on having the best rooftop terrace of any hotel on the Venice Beach boardwalk. We operate as your home away from home on the beach. We enjoy having families spend their vacation with us, feeling comfortable and at ease.

Q. Is parking included?
A. Parking is available at a location nearby for a fee of $10 per day. You can purchase parking in advance by contacting us via phone or email. You may also purchase your parking pass on the day of arrival during office hours only (8:00 am-8:00 pm). If you will be checking in after the office is closed you will need to purchase the parking pass in advance and the pass will be waiting in your room upon arrival.

Q. How close are you to the beach?
A. Venice Suites is directly ocean facing located right on the Venice Beach and Boardwalk. We have incredible ocean views from our roof deck and from many of our suites.

Q. Does the suite come with a full kitchen?
A. Yes, at Venice Suites we provide fully fitted kitchens. All suites are equipped with a cook top stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, drip coffee maker, cookware, dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils, etc., most suites have dishwashers as well.

Q. What size beds are in the rooms?
A. All beds are Queen sized.  The one bedroom suites also have a double fold out sleeper in the living room. We can add a single rollaway bed at no additional cost.

Q. Is there an additional fee if 2 or more people stay in a room?

A. No, the room rate is fixed regardless of the number of guests.

Q. How many people can stay in each room?
A.The maximum occupancies are; 3 guests in a studio suite and 5 guests in a one bedroom suite.

Q. Is there a restaurant on site?
A. No, we do not provide dining or room service. We do provide fully furnished apartments with full kitchens, which allow you to do your own meal preparations.  There are many great restaurants all  within walking distance of the hotel, many of which offer free delivery. 

Q. Is there a gym on site?
A. No, but the World famous Golds Gym is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. 

Q. Do you have AC?
A. No, we do not have AC at Venice Suites. We have ceiling fans and ocean breezes. Air conditioning is seldom needed here at the beach.

Q. Will there be someone there to check me in if I arrive early in the morning or late at night?
A. The office is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. All guests recieve a confirmation email which includes a lock box assignment and combination to retrieve keycards for late night after office arrivals.

Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in time is 3:00 pm and our-check out time is 12:00 noon.
Early check-in and late check-out can only be determined on the day of arrival or departure based on the availability of your room.
If the room is not available for early check-in or late check-out we are happy to store your luggage, based on the limited capacity, in our luggage storage room.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. Reservations cancelled or modified less than 10 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit the first night deposit payment. There are no penalities if you cancel or modify the reservation more that 10 days prior to the arrival date.

Q. Is maid service daily?
A. Maid service is weekly. Additional visits may be arranged for $30/ visit.

Q. Is there a cleaning fee?
A. There is no cleaning fee.

Q. Are Pets Allowed?
A. No, pets are not allowed. We will assign a $300 cleaning fee for bringing pets into a room.

Q. Are there any additional fees?
A. No, there are no additional fees. 

Q. Do you have floor plans?
A.We do not have floor plans for Venice Suites. However you can see pictures of our suites at www.venicesuites.com.

Q. What is the best way to get there from the airport?
A.You can hail a cab at the airport. It will cost $25 - $35 and take 20 mins – 40 mins depending on traffic. You may also use the Pacific Coast Shuttle Bus for approx $17 per person. Officials outside the arrival terminals will direct you to the correct transfer terminal. For regular bus information call 1 800 COMMUTE for a live operator who will give you bus information for all of Los Angeles.

Q. What do I have to do to check out?
A. Simply leave your key cards and the parking pass in the envelope provided on the office door and pass it through the office door mail slot. 

Q. Is Venice Safe?

A. Venice Beach is a beautiful urban beach community. it has a a very diverse population with a lot of homeless people living just outside multi-million dollar properties. Every type of person, ethnicity and income level is represented here, inlcuding many single women, young hipsters, families with kids and many retirees. If you are coming from another urban environment you will be fine; if you are coming from a more rural, small-town area you may feel a little intimidated. The secured parking garage is an approximate 7-minute walk back to the building. Like in any city, put on your urban face of confidence and you will be fine. Do not feel obligated to respond to panhandlers.

NOTE: In February of 2012 the LAPD started enforcement of the closing of Ocean Front Walk and the Beach from 12.00 midnight to 5.00 am; they are all part of the park system. This has significantly reduced the night time homeless population as they have been forced to move to other locales.
